The MERA Art Circle
For the entire month of November, there will be an art show on display at the MERA Schoolhouse. This show features artwork by the members of the MERA Art Circle. You are invited to join us at MERA for the show’s opening event on November 18th. The opening event is on the same day as the MERA Christmas Sale.
The MERA Art Circle is a group of local artists that meets at the MERA Schoolhouse on Friday mornings. It is a time and place to share our art, our ideas and our friendship. Some people come every week, and some only rarely. Occasionally we may have a workshop, but mostly we do our own work, each artist bringing their unique offerings to the group. Each year, we are delighted to present a show of some of our work on the walls of Dean Hall. This art show features the work of MERA Art Circle members Barbara Appleford, Margaret Bruce, Karen Craig, Carol Eldridge, Janina Fisher, Jan Griffiths, Claude Lemay, Sandy McNulty, Helen Mogford and Gloria Shoebridge.
You are invited to join the MERA Art Circle members at the MERA Schoolhouse in McDonald’s Corners (974 Dalhousie Concession 9A) on Saturday November 18th from 1 to 3PM to meet the artists, view their works and purchase that “must have” piece. To arrange to see the exhibition at times other than the Meet the Artist event, please contact Wayne Stryde .
