The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) is a national fundraising walk in support of the hungry, homeless and hurting across Canada. CFUW Perth and District is hosting the CNOY walk this year in Carleton Place on February 22, starting at 4:00 pm, to raise money for Cornerstone Landing. Cornerstone Landing is a non-profit organization that supports youth in Lanark County, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Donations will help to fund Cornerstone Landing’s work with youth in our communities.
On Saturday, February 22, walkers will leave the Canoe Club in Carleton Place and complete a 2km or 5km circuit, returning to enjoy a chili dinner. You can help! Captain a team, join a team, donate, volunteer or cheer on the walkers.
