SHERIDAN RAPIDS NORTH & SOUTH BRIDGES REPLACEMENT DESIGN
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Township of Lanark Highlands has contracted Safe Roads Engineering to provide engineering services for the replacement of the Sheridan Rapids North and South Bridges, which cross the Mississippi River approximately 2 km north of County Road 12. This is due to the bridges’ age, condition, and posted weight restrictions, where the intention is to replace the bridge decks and rehabilitate the existing abutments. During construction, traffic detours will be in place such that only one bridge will be closed at a time, and continuous property access will be maintained.
