Motor Vehicle Collisions
Total: 21

Single Motor Vehicle off Road (“in ditch”): 4
Impaired Driving
On August 1, 2022, Kenneth DAIGLE age 59 of the Town of Carleton Place, was charged with operation while impaired -blood alcohol concentration over 80 as the result of a traffic stop on the OVRT trail in the Town of Carleton Place. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on August 29, 2022.
Domestic investigations
On August 1, 2022 a 44 year old resident of Lanark Highlands Township was charged with spousal assault as the result of a domestic investigation. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on August 22, 2022.
On August 1, 2022 a 76 year old resident of Lanark Highlands Township was charged with utter threats to cause death or bodily harm as the result of a domestic investigation. The accused was held for a show cause hearing.
On August 5, 2022 a 36yr old resident of the Town of Perth was charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order as the result of domestic investigation. The accused was held for a show cause hearing.
On August 7, 2022 a 50yr old resident of the Municipality of Mississippi Mills was charged with two counts of uttering threats and one count each of theft under $5000 and domestic mischief as the result of domestic investigation which began on August 3. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on October 3, 2022.
The Lanark County OPP investigated 13 non-criminal domestic disputes during this week.
Thefts
Officers of the Lanark County OPP investigated 5 theft complaints during the past week.
Frauds
The Lanark County OPP received 3 reports of fraud this week.
