TAKE NOTICE THAT, in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, this notice is to advise that sufficient information has been presented to deem the application being processed under File ZA-2024-05 as complete.
AND THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Lanark Highlands will hold a IN PERSON MEETING as per procedural By-law on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of considering a proposed zoning by-law amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act. In order to assist the Committee in its review of the proposal, you are requested to provide comments on or before September 24th, 2024 at 4:30pm.
PURPOSE AND EFFECT The purpose of the proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment is to restrict the use of existing buildings and structures from housing livestock. The Amendment does not preclude the establishment of a new livestock facility provided MDS can be met. The application is to satisfy a condition of consent for B23-132 which has conditional approval from Lanark County.
