The document titled "Roadside Parsnip Maps & Lengths" contains 2021 and 2022 wild parsnip "Inventory", and is intended as a guideline only, these are not the finalized findings for 2023.
It is mandatory for the Township to publish a map with the intended areas of spot spraying, prior to applying to the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) for the application of spot spraying.
The map titled "Inventory" provides a view of areas to be sprayed which was captured in 2022. This "Inventory" list is not finalized, and “No Spray” agreements will be posted to the website soon. The public will be notified as soon as “No Spray” agreements are finalized and available to the public.
For a more in-depth and up-to-date look at the areas to be sprayed and not to be sprayed, we are working with our mapping system to provide a digital visual of the map, which will supersede the hand drawn map attached to this post.
